Could you please help us understand why people See/Experience similar things when Initiated together. We are also noticing Initiates reporting different “Landmarks.” Does this mean the modern Path is changing slightly?

Let Us see if We can give you a satisfactory answer to this. When someone is Initiated they bring their whole life to that point, “to the table as it were.” All their experiences, fears etc: all are included.

So when a group are Initiated who come from similar backgrounds they will sometimes see similar landmarks. It is sometimes a cultural thing. You both saw similar things on your Initiation.

So as the Path is experienced by Meditators their Journey is always tainted by their journey through life…could be drugs or religious dogmas. The idea is to open up to New Things; that is when the Meditator will really move and change, learn and grow, both on the cushion and off.

So the Path isn’t really changing, all those things people are seeing now have always been there. There is so much to See and Hear!
