The Hierarchy have suggested that we run through the classic landmarks of Second Initiation just before they sit down. See the article on the Initiations page. Make sure you mention the Void and how Black it is as many Meditators think they are doing something wrong when the White Light disappears. Mention also that the Sound might “cut”. This will help the Meditators relax more and not be taken by surprise when the experiences unfold. It is probably a good idea to hold back the description of the “doily” to let the Meditator discover it for themselves; you should of course tell them they will go back to the White Light. We only want people to have this knowledge at the time they first sit down to minimize the mind games; they should of course understand not to divulge this information to the First Initiates and Aspirants.
